12th TCS Annual Conference and Flow Cytometry Workshops

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the department of Hematology, SGPGI is organizing the forthcoming prestigious annual meeting of The Cytometry Society of India (TCS- India), from 9th to 12th October 2019. Flow cytometry has now been utilized for decades and continues to be a vital tool in scientific research and routine patient care. There has been vast improvement in the technology, development of newer fluorochromes as well as development of newer algorithmic tools for data analysis, which has led to a paradigm shift in the application of flow cytometry.

Keeping in pace with the new advances in the field, the forthcoming Annual TCS Conference will be dealing not only with basic flow cytomety in hematological disorders for the beginners, but also focus on the newer tools for analysis in onco-hematology, cancer stem cell identification and residual disease analysis harmonization across various institutes. With multiple parallel sessions we will also have experts dealing with the applications of flow cytometry in benign and malignant hematology, infectious and cancer immunology and basic science research. The four parallel workshops has also been designed to cover various facets of flow cytometry applications.
