Attributes of the workshop	The workshop will have an introduction to flow sorting and the potential applications of cell sorting in basic research will be covered. The machine set up for sorting and precautions to be taken will be shown. Single/multi cell Sorting will be demonstrated.

Platelet disorders- Flow cytometry for platelet function disorders is complementary to Platelet aggregometry. May be used in both congenital and acquired platelet disorders. EMA Binding test For the Work-up of Hereditary Spherocytosis. There are not many centres doing these tests and very few workshops on the topics.
