12th Annual Conference & Workshops
9th – 12th October 2019
Venue: SGPGI, Lucknow 

There will be four parallel training workshops as part of educational activities in the 12th annual conference. The workshops are aimed at students and young faculty who are actively involved in flow cytometry laboratories. They are encouraged to apply for these workshops. The delegates will be expected to make their own arrangement for travel, accommodation and food. Lunch and tea will be served during the workshop. Upon completion of the course the participants will be evaluated and will be given certificate of attendance. As the seats are limited, the acceptance for participation is based on first come first serve basis.

1.  Fundamentals of FCM (Maximum-30 participants)  (Full) Click here for updated programme

The training program will focus on the basics of flow cytometry, instrument set-up, compensation, antibody titration etc. It will also deal with flow cytometric sample preparation, staining and data analysis of some common leukemia/Lymphoma sample. It will be a good experience for beginners in the field or are in their early career of flow cytometry.

2. Advance Hemato-Oncology (Tutorial based- Maximum 60 participants). (Filling Fast)

The training will mainly focus on assessment of Minimal residual disease evaluation and reporting in AML, Myeloma and lymphomas. Details discussion about the guidelines and modalities for inter-institutional harmonisation will be dealt by national as well as international experts from the field

3. Immunodeficiency (Maximum-30 participants) (Few Seats left) Click here for updated programme

The training program will focus on utility of flow cytometry in various immunodeficiency disorders like PID, SCID, Leukocyte adhesion defects, NK cell dysfunction. A systemic approach to reach a diagnosis based on the initial workup will be dealt by the experts in the field.

4. Cell sorting (Maximum 20 participants) Click here for updated  programme

The training program will focus on the sample preparation and technique of flow based cell sorting. This technique is a crucial step of population enrichment for downstream experiments.
